Depart for Xi’an by a domestic flight from Beijing International Airport. Xi’an is one of the oldest cities in Chinese history. Upon arrival, a chartered bus will take you to the hotel and check-in followed by a guided bus tour of this city and a visit to the Ancient City Wall. Additional free time or an optional of Tang Dynasty Music & Dancing Show in the evening will surely add more beautiful memories to your visit of Xi’an. |

Activities |
Pick you up in the morning from the hotel. Take you to Dazu to have a look at Dazu Rock Carving in Baodingshan. You will see the famous stone carvings of Buddha there.
After having lunch go to the Eling Park, a good scenic location, ascend to the highest place of Chongqing, have a bird eye view of the city. Later, go to the city center, see the symbolic architecture--People's Hall of Chongqing, it was completed in 1954 to memorize China's resistance war and establishment of new government, one of the top 10 classic architectures in 20th century Asia. Your last stop of the tour is Chongqing Stilwell Museum--Flying Tiger Memorial. A chartered bus will take you to the cruise ship. |

We make our first stop in the “ Ghost City” of Fengdu. Here on Mount Mishan we encounter a truly mysterious world of myth and legend. Huge figures – up to 8 meters ( 25ft) tall – appear to look right through us. This evening we have the grand Captain’s Welcome Party, including a lively show presented by the ship’s crew. |

| Day 16 (AUG 02) Yangzi River Cruise |

On Board Day 3: The Three Lesser Gorges / The Three Gorges |
Activities |
After passing through the Qutang Gorge and the Wu Gorge, the most impressive of the three gorges and also known as the „Witches’ Gorge“, we join small boats to explore the Three Lesser Gorges. We travel through shallow waters past historic townships and attractive villages, which modern China appears almost to have forgotten. Eventually we arrive at the Three Gorges Dam, the world’s largest dam, and descend through the five-stage lock to the foot of the dam. On board the Captain invites us to the Farewell Dinner. |

| Day 17 (AUG. 03) River Cruise to Yichang |

On Board Day 4: The Three Gorges Dam / Yichang |
Activities |
This morning we have the chance to inspect the Three Gorges Dam. It is 185 meters ( 570 ft) high and 2.3 kilometres (1.5 miles) long. The process of filling the 600 kilometre (400 miles) long reservoir was started on 20th May 2006. To achieve this over one million people from 13 townships and 1500 villages had to be re-settled. 26 gigantic turbines have an annual output of 18 million KW/h – the equivalent of several nuclear power plants. After this visit our cruise continues through the Xiling Gorge to Yichang, where we disembark. We’ll have a lunch at the Yichang city and visit Yichang Museum after lunch . |

Enjoy the magnificent night view of the Bund and Pudong Area on the dinner cruise in the evening (optional)
